As the listing says, it’s not every day a one-owner RX-3s comes available. And while scarce (among other things) is the the kid who had a poster of one on their bedroom wall, the RX-3 does hold a small spot in automotive history. It was a good seller for Mazda in its time, which not only helped the automaker get a foothold in the US market, but exposed car buyers to the term “Wankel rotary engine.” Both factors helped to pave the way for the RX-7 and the rest is history. If that holds any meaning, then a one-owner example with original books, window sticker, and less than 75,000 original miles isn’t a bad way to go. Find it here on Craigslist for the price of a new Mazda3 at $26,999.
