This one’s likely to generate a few what is that? questions. The suicide doors and elegant lines hint at a British marque. But even the answer, “a Lancia” will leave most people scratching their heads. What it is is a Series 2 Appia, the smaller iteration of the Aurelia that perhaps more gearheads are familiar with. With its 1,100 cc hemi-head V4 putting out 48 hp, it won’t arouse any of the sporting character of its V6 sibling but it is nevertheless a comfortable tourer that has a classic luxurious presence. This one looks to be in solid condition, with rust being reported only in the battery box. Otherwise both exterior and interior appear to be excellent and the seller reports extensive mechanical refurbishing. It’s another look-rich-cheap candidate at $14,500 or best offer. Find it here on Craigslist in upstate New York.
