TURIN, Italy (April 27, 2023) – “Monza – The Temple of Speed” is now available on Alfa Romeo’s official YouTube channel. The fifth and final exciting episode of the digital series takes viewers “behind the scenes and beyond” with the Alfa Romeo F1 Team as they compete in the most popular motor racing contest in the world. The compelling Alfa Romeo series has thrilled motorsports fans from around the globe. It has now reached its compelling conclusion, cumulating over five exciting episodes:

“’Beyond the visible’ was an exciting adventure. The episode on Monza, our spiritual home, ended a very successful project. The fifth episode serves as a tribute to the most iconic of the international Formula 1 circuits, the Monza circuit. Monza is the home of Alfa Romeo’s decorated racing legacy. With more than 100 years since its inauguration, it is now known as the Temple of Speed and the setting of indelible chapters written in the history of motorsports. On this track on September 3, 1950, Alfa Romeo won the first Formula 1 title in history with the Alfetta 158 driven by Nino Farina. The rest is history: Tazio Nuvolari, Juan Manuel Fangio and many other heroic drivers contributed to Alfa Romeo’s exciting sporting tradition during a century of motorsports excellence.
Since 1922, Monza has separated itself from all the other circuits. Extremely fast and technical, it puts drivers’ skills to the test. However, Monza not only challenges drivers’ skills, the entire team of engineers and mechanics are also called on to overhaul the car’s configuration and setup for this track.
Using complex data analysis and development, the aim is to put the driver in the best position for success on a track where the action never stops, and where the speed goes to the limit.
The connection between the performances on the tarmac and the emotions of the fans packed into the stands is at the heart of the Monza Grand Prix: an unmissable, unique event. Monza is the living museum of Italian motorsport, where Alfa Romeo has written the greatest chapters in its history of noble Italian sportsmanship.
