PARIS (February 7, 2025) – Jean Todt, former FIA President and motorsport legend, has been officially inducted into the prestigious FIVA Heritage Hall of Fame at the 2025 Rétromobile show in Paris. This esteemed honor, awarded by the Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (FIVA), recognizes individuals who have made a lasting impact on automotive history. The international jury accepted Todt’s award nomination – made by the Fédération Française des Véhicules d’Époque (FFVE), FIVA’s national representative in France – with great conviction.

Jean Todt’s legacy in motorsport is unmatched. As FIA President from 2009 to 2021, his leadership brought transformative changes to motorsports, prioritising safety, sustainability and the inclusion of female racing talents. His initiatives not only raised everyday road safety awareness, saving countless lives, but his commitment to environmental sustainability also helped establish Formula E, revolutionizing electric cars. Additionally, his advocacy for female motoring talents led to the creation of the ‘Women in Motorsport Commission,’ chaired by Michèle Mouton, fostering greater opportunities for women in motorsports.
