VALLEJO, Calif. (November 22, 2024) – Kindred Motorworks, the Bay Area manufacturer of “Brand New Vintage” iconic vehicles, is proud to announce its first limited-edition model. The Kindred Bronco Black ICE Edition will be available for preorder on Black Friday—November 29, 2024 at 8:00 AM Eastern—and limited to five builds in total.

The Black ICE moniker is a playful nod to the vehicle’s design scheme, release date and powertrain. All five Black ICE Edition Broncos that come online on Black Friday are powered by the 5.0-liter Ford “Coyote” internal combustion engine—the ICE part of the name. Each Kindred Bronco Black ICE Edition is based on the gas-powered Bronco Trail Edition. All those features are standard, and from there, the Black ICE Edition adds the following:

  • Exclusive “Black Ice” paint color with a full gloss finish
  • Black wood interior trim elements
  • Exclusive Black ICE Edition build plates
  • Black-on-black exterior badging, including the Bronco nameplate grille lettering
  • Fully blacked-out 18-inch Method forged aluminum wheels and hubs

The Kindred Bronco Black ICE retails for $214,000. The first three builds will be delivered to their owners in Q1 2025. The fourth and fifth vehicles will follow in Q2, concluding the Black ICE special edition run.

Kindred’s Black ICE Edition Bronco includes all the Bronco Trail edition elements, including a front impact bumper with an integrated Warn Zeon 10-S winch and a rear impact bumper with an integrated hitch and tire carrier. Those are in addition to the long list of standard Kindred Bronco comfort and convenience features, including four-wheel disc brakes, BFGoodrich All-Terrain TA KO2 tires, full LED lighting, RECARO leather bucket seats with headrests and three-point safety belts, cupholders, a backup camera, power windows, high-fidelity audio with subwoofer and Bluetooth, and much more.
