GOTHENBURG, Sweden (January 30, 2025) – Polestar has created a new collection of unique ‘Arctic Circle’ cars that build onto the formula applied to the one-of-a-kind Polestar 2 Arctic Circle first shown in 2022. Now, additional Polestar 3 and Polestar 4 versions have been built to present a complete line-up of rally-inspired, one-off Arctic Circle cars that express the Swedish brand’s performance DNA. GOTHENBURG, Sweden (August 14, 2024) – Polestar (Nasdaq: PSNY) announces that production of its luxury SUV, Polestar 3, has started in South Carolina, USA. This makes the Polestar 3 the first Polestar to be produced on two continents.

The factory in South Carolina produces cars for customers in the US and Europe, complementing existing production in Chengdu, China. Continue reading

GOTHENBURG, Sweden (29 April 2024) –Polestar and fast-charging battery pioneer StoreDot have successfully demonstrated the implementation of StoreDot’s Extreme Fast Charging (XFC) technology in a car for the first time, charging a Polestar 5 prototype from 10-80% in just 10 minutes. The fully driveable verification prototype saw a consistent charge rate starting at 310 kW and rising to a peak in excess of 370 kW at the end of charging. Continue reading
