AUTOGRAPH Lounge scores a visual touchdown with custom-designed, 24-inch INFINITI Performance wheels. Featuring stunning floating center caps with finely curving spokes, they bring to life the striking wheels that first made an unforgettable impression on the QX Monograph concept.

Equipped to transport up to three rows of fellow fans to the starting line, the finishing touch on AUTOGRAPH Lounge is a matte-gray wrap, accentuating the vehicle’s minimalist form with a low-gloss texture that dramatically contrasts with the bright-finished wheels. NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 14, 2024) – No more choosing between following your team and pursuing your love of the great outdoors: Nissan Project Trailgater¹ combines a high-tech, outdoors tailgating experience with the off-road capability of the refreshed 2025 Frontier.

This one-off project vehicle will be shown publicly at the 2024 SEMA show in Las Vegas, Nov. 5-8, alongside four other Nissan project vehicles to be announced at a later date.

Project Trailgater was built in collaboration with PowerNation TV’s “Music City Trucks.” The build process will be documented in three episodes of the show, releasing in sequence Oct. 14, 21 and 28.

Touchdowns between the trees
The Nissan Frontier is designed to enable passionate owners to pursue their hobbies and interests with confidence, and Project Trailgater was created with sports fans hoping to catch the game outside of their living room in mind. Its debut during the heart of the college and professional football season reflects the sports’ continued dominance among TV viewers.

The Project Trailgater concept is perfectly equipped to stream first downs, touchdowns and everything in between with twin 43-inch TVs and a powerful soundbar mounted to a NISMO Off Road overlanding rack in the bed. Accompanied by a folding solar panel, a custom lithium battery pack and associated electronics, plus a Starlink connection, the setup is designed to stream games almost anywhere a satellite or mobile hotspot signal is available.

No tailgate is complete without snacks, and Project Trailgater caters with an integrated Dometic cooler and refrigerator, a fold-out kitchen station and sink, plus a built-in propane grill that folds out from one of the CargoGlide slide-outs on a custom-fabricated hinged mount and fire pit.

Project Trailgater expands on Frontier’s already impressive ability to venture off-road with several NISMO Off Road accessory parts, including a suspension lift kit, forged upper control arms, high-performance rear shocks and front coilovers. The NISMO Off Road accessories catalog also provides 17-inch Axis beadlock capable wheels with Yokohama GEOLANDAR M/T tires, a performance cat-back exhaust, a roof rack and numerous additional lights.

A bold foundation
Project Trailgater is based on the 2025 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X. For the 2025 model year, the midsize pickup was refreshed to enhance its rugged style, add more intuitive technology and enhance its everyday utility. The visual refresh includes a new front fascia and new wheels for the PRO-X/PRO-4X grades, while utility is enhanced with greater availability of the long-wheelbase, 6-foot bed configuration on PRO-4X and SL grades.

The 2025 Frontier also adds a standard telescopic-adjusting steering wheel on all grades and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system for SV grades and higher. Maximum tow ratings increase across all Frontier grades, up to a maximum of 7,150 pounds².

The PRO-4X grade used as the base for Project Trailgater enables adventure beyond the pavement with all-terrain tires, a locking rear differential, Bilstein off-road suspension components, and an even more rugged appearance with over fenders and Lava Red tow hooks.

Limited in quantity and featuring exclusive design elements, the 2024 Nissan Z Heritage Edition pays homage to the appearance of the S30-generation Datsun 240Z, which was unveiled 55 years ago in 1969. The distinctive color scheme of the Heritage Edition pays tribute to the iconic orange body available on the original S30.

The Heritage Edition is based on Z Performance and offered with either a 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic transmission. Building on the changes already announced for the 2024 GT-R, the T-spec Takumi Edition and Skyline Edition pay homage to the performance vehicle that has been an icon of the Nissan lineup since its 2007 debut.

After more than 17 years of thrilling fans and exhilarating drivers, GT-R production for the North American market will sunset in October. Since its launch, the R35 GT-R has delivered supercar-rivaling performance and excitement for a supercar-beating price tag, engaging a new generation of automotive enthusiasts in the U.S., and showing many more expensive sports cars its taillights on the racetrack.

Special editions for a special send-off
Pricing for the 2024 Nissan GT-R limited editions will start at a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)¹ of $151,090 for T-spec Takumi Edition and $131,090 for Skyline Edition. Both models are expected to arrive at select U.S. Nissan dealers this summer. Fewer than 200 units will be available, making this a rare and exclusive exit from the North American market.

Honoring talented craftspeople
The GT-R T-spec Takumi Edition honors the eponymous takumi master craftspeople responsible for hand-assembling each GT-R VR38DETT engine. The engine badge acknowledging the takumi will feature red-etched writing, and the engine bay will house a gold VIN plate. The red engine badge signifies an elevated level of attention to precise engine tolerances and component balancing during assembly of the twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V6.
