Headlining those is the new integrated MBUX Virtual Assistant. It uses advanced software and generative AI to create an even more natural and intuitive relationship with the car, with proactive support that makes the customer’s life more convenient. This game-changing development takes the ‘Hey Mercedes’ voice assistant into a whole new visual dimension with Unity’s high-resolution game-engine graphics. Running on the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) developed in-house, its rollout starts with the vehicles on the forthcoming MMA platform (Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture). STUTTGART (December 12, 2023) –Mercedes-AMG presents the new SL 63 S E PERFORMANCE. The roadster’s Handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 Biturbo engine and AMG Electric Drive Unit produce an 805 hp combined system output and up to 1,047 lb-ft combined system torque. This makes the new E PERFORMANCE model the most powerful SL to date. The immediate response of the electric drive on the rear axle, rapid torque build-up and linear power delivery enable impressive performance. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph takes just 2.8 seconds. Standard AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with active roll stabilization and active rear-axle steering provides a wide spread of driving characteristics – from comfortable to highly dynamic. Mercedes-AMG is sharpening its product portfolio with the new AMG CLE 53 Coupe. The sporty two-door model combines the best of two worlds: agility and sportiness of the AMG C-Class with the interior space and elegance of the AMG E-Class. The AMG-enhanced 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with turbocharging via an exhaust gas turbocharger and an electric auxiliary compressor has been thoroughly modified and now produces 443 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque (443 lb-ft for 12 seconds with overboost). The 48-volt integrated starter generator (ISG) provides support at lower engine speeds with 23 hp and 151 lb-ft. Power is transferred via an AMG SPEEDSHIFT® TCT 9G transmission and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ fully variable all-wheel drive. Continue reading

(August 21, 2023) ― A Mercedes-Benz 540 K Special Roadster (W 29) won the prestigious “Best of Show” title at the 2023 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance yesterday (Sunday, August 20, 2023). The sporty luxury car prevailed over a top-class field of exclusive classic cars in the jury vote at the final event of Pebble Beach Automotive Week (August 17- 20, 2023). This victory is the tenth “Best of Show” title for a Mercedes-Benz vehicle since the start of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in 1950.
