LAS VEGAS (October 24, 2024) – Nilu27, the hypercar brand recently launched by legendary sports car designer Sasha Selipanov, is back on the road in November, giving more fans and buyers another opportunity to see the NILU hypercar for themselves.

Ever since its global debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in August, the company has been inundated with opportunities to display the car and requests to see it in person. To satisfy the demand, NILU will first appear at the Wynn Concours in Las Vegas on November 1-3. The car will be accompanied by Nilu27 founders, husband and wife team Inna and Sasha Selipanov.

Entering its third year, the Wynn Concours is rapidly becoming one of the pillars of the automotive calendar. Taking place on the Wynn Golf Course in Las Vegas, the showcase has been expanded to 250 vehicles within five judged and non-judged categories. Among the desirable and collectible cars on display, NILU will have a stand where attendees can immerse themselves in the curvaceous composite exterior before exploring the exposed V12 and minimalist interior.

With more than half the limited production run already accounted for, potential customers can discuss purchase options with the founders to create their unique specification. What color would you choose? How about a signature “Sumac-Red” exterior with a contrasting “moon landing” silver interior?

From Las Vegas, NILU will return to Los Angeles for the annual LA Auto Show, which has been taking place for more than a century. Held at the LA Convention Center, NILU will be in attendance on Media Day. Sasha and Inna will present a press conference and be available to the media for interviews. The hypercar will remain on display in the West Atrium for show attendees to enjoy during the opening weekend from Friday 22 to Sunday 24.

With an extensive supercar background before founding Nilu27, Sasha Selipanov will be making a guest appearance at LA Auto Show on Saturday 23 at 12PM to meet fans and sign posters of his NILU hypercar. The team will give away 300 special edition posters to fans to commemorate the occasion.

Don’t worry if you’re unable to attend the Wynn Concours or LA Auto Show. NILU will continue to make special appearances at events into 2025 and beyond. For more information, please visit nilu27.com

SEALY, Texas (Sept 10, 2024) – Hennessey Special Vehicles, the Texas-based hypercar manufacturer, has announced plans to build its most engaging, physical, and driver-focused hypercar to-date – the Venom F5-M Roadster – the world’s most powerful manual production car.

Focused around a gated six-speed manual transmission, the core purpose of the significantly re-engineered Venom F5-M is to amplify the sensation of driving. Alongside the sensory magnification enabled by the open cockpit, Hennessey opted for a physical transmission connection over any electronic interference. The team’s engineers worked hard to merge captivating interaction, mind-bending performance, and full-sensory feedback, with the mighty Fury V8 engine’s 1,817 bhp – placing the driver right at the heart of the beast.

“We are so excited to offer the Venom F5-M Roadster – the world’s most powerful manual. We always wanted to build a manual Venom F5 – and it’s something our clients have been asking for. It’s old school, it’s badass, and it offers ultimate driving engagement.

“Driving the Venom F5 is already a full body experience that thrills, inspires, and never gets old… but, we never say that’s enough, we never stand still. That’s why we’ve dived deeper into the sensation of driving, finding every touchpoint to deliver connection, feedback, sound, and engagement. We believe that the Venom F5-M Roadster will be the most intense, immersive, and extreme driving experience on the planet and a dozen lucky customers get to join us for the ride!”

John Hennessey, company founder and CEO

Working with the company’s experienced calibration team, Hennessey’s engineering guru Brian Jones remapped the engine to pair it with new gearing ratios. Optimizing the set-up for exhilaration and stimulation, the team balanced thrill against the scientific realities of manually transferring 1,817 bhp to the road via the rear wheels. The graduated application of power will guarantee the Venom F5-M devastating acceleration, while harnessing power delivery to achieve control as speed increases.

Just 12 Venom F5-M Roadster models will be built – all are already sold – each priced from $2.65 million and featuring a unique livery exclusive to the model range. Alongside every customer stamping their own mark on their car with one-off colors and unique carbon fiber treatments, the manual Venom F5 will stand apart from the rest of the range in a host of ways inside and out. One of the most obvious differences is the addition of a huge 55-inch (1,400 mm) dorsal fin that stretches from the roof-mounted air scoop right to the trailing edge of the rear deck.

Within the cockpit, a redesigned interior heroes the elevated aluminum and carbon fiber gear shifter – positioned precisely, close to the driver, to facilitate the perfect shift. Honed for feel, and physically connected to the gearbox, the shifter sits in pride of place within a six-speed gate – milled from billet aluminum. This blend of driver touchpoints, physicality of operation, and total connection with the machinery of the hypercar integrates perfectly with Hennessey’s obsessive attention to detail and the highest levels of skilled craftmanship.

“We’re extreme, we’re authentic, plus we’re distinctly and uniquely American. These characteristics shine through in the design of the F5-M, inside and out, and in how it performs. This is a car for bold and brave driving enthusiasts who like their hypercars to thrill with wild power, dramatic design, and an experience behind the wheel that is incomparable to anything else on Earth.”

Nathan Malinick, Hennessey Director of Design

Malinick and his team created a bespoke livery for the F5-M that accentuates the lines of the car, emphasizes its open roof, and take inspiration from heritage motorsport designs. From the front, Hennessey celebrates next level craftmanship pairing exposed carbon fiber with a colored central line and duel, contrasting accent stripes that flow up to the windscreen. The stripes, which continue over the roof, along the dorsal fin, right to the rear edge of the deck lid, also connect the car’s exterior to its cockpit, with the ‘spine line’ mirrored beneath the roof onto the central console.

This redesigned central section of the cockpit features an entirely new layout for the F5-M. The fresh look sees new horizontal air outlets set above a purpose-made slot for the key – made from the same billet aluminum as the gearshift gate it sits above. Flowing down from the gearstick, there’s space for the air conditioning control, with the redesigned console completed by jet-fighter-inspired toggle switches for the windows.

The new open-top manual Hennessey hypercar stands on the shoulders of the current World Record holding Hennessey Venom GT Spyder, which is still the world’s fastest convertible road car. Also sporting a six-speed manual, the Venom GT set the world’s fastest open top speed in 2016, achieving 265.6 mph – a record held to this day.

Design, specification, and build of each Venom F5 is carried out at Hennessey’s HQ in Sealy, Texas. The team has already delivered 24 semi-auto Venom F5 Coupe, Roadster, and Revolution models and Special Series cars to customers across the U.S. and around the world. Hennessey has already sold all 12 Venom F5-M Roadsters, which are part of the 30-unit total build run of Roadster models. Each owner is guaranteed a unique color that is deleted from Hennessey’s world-leading configurator once chosen to ensure total exclusivity.

Buyers interested in other Hennessey Venom F5 models can apply to own one at HennesseySpecialVehicles.com. Alternatively, interested parties should call Hennessey on +1 979 885 1300, or contact the company’s network of U.S. and international retailers.

SEALY, Texas (Aug 16, 2024) – Hennessey Special Vehicles, the Texas-based hypercar manufacturer, has revealed the ‘Stealth Series’ – a new, ultra-limited trio of its 1,817 bhp Venom F5 hypercar. Celebrating intricate, skilled craftmanship and the finest, most elaborate individualization options, just three models are to be built to the exclusive Stealth Series specification.

Only available on track-focused Revolution models, the Stealth Series balances exposed carbon fiber, in black and tinted forms, with painstakingly hand-painted body panels. Unique to the Stealth Series, the exposed carbon fiber runs from the nose-mounted ‘H-badge’ down the entire spine of the hypercar. The exposed carbon ‘reveal’ initially broadens to meet the windscreen before flowing over the roof and narrowing organically – past the engine cover for the 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged ‘Fury’ motor – right to rear deck’s trailing edge above the mid-mounted quad tailpipes.

Beyond the meticulous engineering and construction of the car and its powertrain, each Stealth model requires around 2,350 manhours just to create the flawless carbon fiber body and chassis, with a further 650 to 750 manhours to complete each complex paint treatment. Craftsmen hand lay the cosmetic carbon fiber, hand-paint every exterior panel, painstakingly upholster every piece of the dash, seats, and doors, embroider the ‘Hennessey’ script, and include personalized ‘easter eggs’ – unique to each customer. Every detail is considered in the utmost detail by Hennessey’s design team, from using the finest hand-laid carbon fiber found anywhere in the automotive industry, to the imperceptible surface changes from exposed carbon, to paint, to accent color on the bodywork.

Just three of the uniquely American models make up the ultra-exclusive series of Venom F5 hypercars. Part of the 99-car total Venom F5 production run, all three models sold even before the series was shown at The Quail, during Monterey Car Week.

“Everyone knows that the Venom F5 is the most extreme, powerful, and visceral pure-combustion hypercar in the world, but the real selling point for our customers is the craftmanship, quality, beauty, and attention to detail. Combining all these elements into the Stealth Series creates a unique art piece that celebrates the finest craftmanship alongside raw, visceral, unapologetic American horsepower.”

John Hennessey, company founder and CEO

Hennessey’s design team works closely with Stealth Series owners to curate a specification that will achieve immortality through careful, thoughtful personalization. For example, unique features on the Stealth Series specifications shown at The Quail include tinted carbon fiber inside and out, body color-matched brake calipers, and personal racing numbers ghosted into the carbon fiber.

“In creating the unique specification for the limited-edition Venom F5 Stealth Series, we were inspired by the hypercar’s aerodynamic form and the beauty, authenticity, and craftmanship of its exposed carbon fiber. The Stealth Series is a ‘best of both worlds’ presentation of exquisite, exposed carbon fiber and world-class, impactful paintwork that accentuates the F5’s form.”

Nathan Malinick, Hennessey Director of Design

Hennessey debuted the Venom F5 Stealth Series at The Quail on Friday August 16 during Monterey Car Week in California. The Hennessey display featured a Revolution Roadster and Revolution Coupe version of the Stealth Series cars with attendees able to soak up the quality and attention to detail in the Californian sun. While exact customer specification costs remain private, the complete build price for each Stealth Series car exceeds $3 million.

The third Stealth Series model is a Venom F5 Revolution in coupe form. Distinguishing the track-honed Revolution from its regular Coupe sibling is a full-width rear-mounted carbon fiber wing, roof-mounted air scoop, a significantly larger front splitter and rear diffuser. The Revolution features reworked suspension, engine cooling, and digital telemetry alongside dive planes ahead of each front wheel that channel air to improve grip at turn-in.

In March this year, a Revolution coupe confirmed the Venom F5’s status as ‘America’s Hypercar’ by setting a new production car lap record of 2:10.90 at Circuit of The Americas. The company then turned its engineering focus to a push towards the car’s +300 mph V-max, building on the 271.6 mph set during its development. Continuing its evolution, Hennessey set a production car World Record speed achieving 221.92 mph in the standing half mile.

Design, specification, and assembly of each Venom F5 is carried out just 100 miles from COTA at Hennessey’s HQ in Sealy, Texas. Hennessey has already built and delivered 24 Venom F5 Coupe, Roadster, and Revolution models to customers across the U.S. and around the world with a further 16 orders booking out build slots through 2024 and 2025.

Potential buyers can apply to own a Venom F5 at HennesseySpecialVehicles.com. Alternatively, interested parties can call Hennessey on +1 979 885 1300, or contact the company’s network of U.S. and international retailers.

CASTLE COMBE, U.K. (August 8, 2024) – The McMurtry team thought it was about time to answer the question asked by a lot of Castle Combe locals in person and online such as ‘how fast is it around Combe?’, ‘Surely it’s got the record already’ & ‘Lap times please???’

On 29th April, The McMurtry Spéirling PURE (Validation Prototype 1) fan car achieved the outright fastest ever lap around the 1.85mile Castle Combe Circuit as a part of routine testing.

The time of 54.559s was set by McMurtry development driver, Max Chilton, who also holds the record at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and was 4 seconds quicker than the previous benchmark, set by an open wheel single seater F3 car. And nearly 10 seconds quicker than the GT3 lap record, a large percentage on such a short lap.

Interestingly, Castle Combe is McMurtry’s local circuit and is the same venue Max passed his racing license test back in the early 2000s, which gives this lap extra significance to all involved.

“Everyone wants bragging rights at their local circuit, and even running at 80% power and with a 155mph speed limit, we’ve knocked 4 seconds off the outright track record. This demonstrates the potential in the car for our customers to achieve the same at their local or favourite circuits.”

Max Chilton, test driver

The McMurtry Spéirling PURE is a hyper-track car available for order worldwide. It utilizes a unique downforce-on-demand system to provide exceptional downforce and grip right from 0mph. This system works alongside the 1000bhp electric powertrain, offering selectable performance drive modes from GT3 to F1-level pace.

“This is a fun milestone to achieve. It’s not everyday you get to see a car and driver go so much faster than what’s gone before. Having tested at Castle Combe for years, it was about time we showed what the car can do around our local circuit.”

Thomas Yates, Managing Director of McMurtry Automotive,

McMurtry are now heading to the USA to compete at Laguna Seca in the reverse corkscrew hillclimb with the original Goodwood record holding Spéirling and driver Max Chilton on 10th and 11th August.

Nilu27, the hypercar brand recently founded by celebrated sports car designer Sasha Selipanov, is thrilled to showcase its first vehicle: the self-titled NILU hypercar. Following a number of social media teasers, which created a stir among the sports car community, the car can finally be revealed in its entirety.

The NILU hypercar challenges traditional automotive industry trends. By avoiding electrification, digitalization, and other technological aids, NILU will deliver a raw, unfiltered, uncensored driving experience.

Taking inspiration from sources such as ’60s F1 and Le Mans racers, classic Italian design houses, the Bauhaus “form follows function” philosophy, old school American muscle, drift cars, mathematics, and avant garde metal music, NILU’s no-nonsense design is as eclectic as it is original.

Sasha’s goal was to create a car with an “inevitable” design: fresh and yet somehow familiar. The resulting NILU exterior, with its tight cross sections and sinuous curves, is functional, lean and aerodynamic. For maximum contrast, it juxtaposes clean sculptural surfaces with its mechanical, exposed and intricately detailed engine bay. True to Bauhaus philosophy, NILU eschews superfluous styling features to celebrate essential functional beauty.

The NILU chassis features a bespoke carbon fiber monocoque with lightweight aluminum-alloy tubular subframes. In contrast to “fashionable” composite subframes, the designer deliberately chose a tubular approach to improve access to the drivetrain components while effortlessly facilitating heat extraction and celebrating the mechanical aesthetic.

The NILU cabin was designed to provide perfect viewing angles with ideal ergonomics and safety. The designer was able to achieve an incredibly low roofline and compact cabin dimensions without sacrificing comfort. NILU seats two adults in a traditional side-by-side layout with best-in-class ingress and egress made possible by substantial gullwing doors, low sill heights, and fixed, sunken seats, which do not obstruct the door apertures with their side bolsters.

The NILU human/machine interface is all about manual, analog controls, inputs and feedback. The only screen is the rear view camera/mirror, which addresses the traditional weakness of mid-engined sports cars: the lack of rearward visibility.

The steering wheel’s compact size and perfectly round shape allows for incredibly detailed steering feel and input precision. The wheel is void of switches, buttons and toggles; a testament to the belief that performance driving requires full concentration with zero distractions. Gone are the driving modes, settings and options: NILU controls are both primary and intuitive.

For this reason, an open-gate, seven-speed manual transmission celebrates raw, analog driving while adding a safety element with its reverse gear lock-out. Steering wheel, pedal box, headrest, door mirrors and other adjustments are deliberately manual, accessed by gratifying manual levers and switches. The tactile, haptic feedback from cold-touch, machined billet controls was deemed both more engaging and, crucially, safer than navigating through screen menus.

PRODUCTION
The NILU hypercar is Sasha’s vision in its purest form; a vision he’s been perfecting since 2006. It will initially be available in an extremely limited run with production capped at 15 units.

“My path in the industry has never been about following rules and sticking to norms. I was never afraid to follow my intuition or chase my dreams. Breaking conventions is simply a byproduct. The same is true for NILU  – a hypercar that discards current trends and conventions in pursuit of an elevated automotive experience.

“Unveiling NILU to the world is a dream come true; a moment so profound it is hard to express in words. The vision was the result of a decades-long search, sleepless nights, years of overthinking and overanalyzing. I was fortunate to learn from and contribute to the industry’s best; now my team and I are thrilled to put all this vision and knowledge into action.”

– Sasha Selipanov, NILU co-founder and designer

V12 ENGINE
Nilu27 has partnered with Hartley Engines in New Zealand to produce one of the most powerful and visually striking naturally aspirated engines in the world. The NILU engine bay is fully exposed, showcasing the beautiful 6.5-liter, 80-degree V12.

As NILU will not rely on electrification, it aims to be the world’s most powerful, naturally aspirated hypercar. To achieve this, the V12 will deliver more than 1000 horsepower. And while its large bore and short stroke will make it rev like an electric motor, the even-fire engine will provide the driver with the perfect amount of tactile vibration.

The Hartley V12 has a refined combustion area, high-flow ports, and performance-style valve geometry: something OEMs typically cannot accommodate in their compact platforms. The engine also features 12 large, individual throttle bodies for instant throttle response.

Another key differentiator for the NILU V12 is its unique “Hot V.” In this configuration, the conventional exhaust and intake positions are swapped around. The setup delivers key advantages when it comes to packaging, heat extraction, and aesthetics. And it has allowed the stunning “snakepit” 12-into-1 exhaust headers to serve as a unique highlight of the exterior design.

The entire exhaust system was 3D-printed in Inconel, allowing the complex design to be realized; another unique feature when you consider its dimensions.

Mated to the seven-speed CIMA manual transmission, and housed in the ceramic-coated aluminum-alloy subframe, the NILU V12 represents functional beauty at its finest.

“We’ve been quietly working on the design and layout of our own engine for the last few years, taking inspiration from late ’80s and early ’90s Formula 1 cars. We strove for the kind of engineering that’s raw, endearing, emotional, and sometimes a little crazy.

“With Sasha’s wishlist for NILU, we finally found the perfect project to dedicate our time and were able to adapt our development into his Hot V configuration, designing the engine around his chassis layout.

“Make no mistake; this is not an OEM engine from another manufacturer converted to the Hot V; this is a bespoke, large bore, short stroke monster. It’s got aggressive cams, aggressive port flow, lightweight components and exotic materials. We want to get a cold sweat every time the V12 starts and revs. It’s fair to say, we’re very excited!”

Nelson Hartley, founder and CEO of Hartley Engines

DYNAMICS
The NILU hypercar employs a double wishbone, pushrod suspension, with its extremely long wishbones visible from the rear; the length contributing to the exceptionally precise and compliant handling characteristics.

A set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tires were fitted, specified at 265/35 R20 front and 325/30 R21 rear. They have been mounted to 10×20” and 13×21” Nilu27 centerlock wheels, which were designed in-house with intricate lightweight detailing to reduce the unsprung weight. The wheels are produced by AppTech in Italy.

Carbon-ceramic braking equipment was sourced from Brembo. The Italian company’s GT | BM calipers are fitted front and rear in a custom white finish. The car also has Brembo’s highest performance CCM-R Plus rotors, which deliver outstanding performance and fade resistance.

THE FUTURE
The initial NILU prototype vehicles and first batch of customer cars will be assembled by Aria Group in Irvine, CA, allowing Nilu27 to ramp-up its own facilities overseas.

The series production of the limited-edition MARSIEN by Marc Philipp Gemballa GmbH (not associated in any form with Gemballa GmbH) is running at full speed. The super car, limited to just 40 units, is being delivered to clients in more than sixteen countries around the globe. The MARSIEN is all terrain capable, suitable for everyday use, technology focused and futuristic in appearance designed by French Porsche aficionado Alan Derosier. It embodies the entrepreneur’s vision of creating holistic and timeless masterpieces that tell a story and go far beyond the scope of the traditional tuning business.

Made for the extremes
Legendary engineers who have made vehicles competition-ready for the 24 Hours of Le Mans and other races were involved in the development of the MARSIEN and the 422 specially developed components from bespoke double wishbone suspension, titanium exhaust system, along with own taillights, wiring loom, which took several thousand hours of engineering and design. The MARSIEN’s full carbon fiber body consisting of more than 80 single carbon fiber components that mastered bullet tests, the homologation of the taillights and the vehicle as a whole, to only name a few major tests passed in the process of gaining road approval.

In order to put MARSIEN through its paces, Marc Philipp Gemballa and his team travelled to Scandinavia, where it was -20 degrees Celsius, drove up the glacier in Sölden, Austria and covered 3,000 km on the Nordschleife as part of the industry pool drives for homologation. The sizzling desert in the United Arab Emirates with temperatures in excess of 50 degrees Celsius was also part of the rigorous testing. It was there, in the Al-Faya desert in the Emirate of Sharjah, that the name MARSIEN was born. The red desert sand combined with the unparalleled mountain landscape took the test team’s breath away. “We felt like we were on Mars,” Marc Philipp Gemballa recalls. The surroundings were reminiscent of the red planet, and the conditions on site made the super car feel right at home – after all, it was made precisely for such extreme conditions. Hence the name MARSIEN, derived from the French word “Martian” or “from Mars”.

Cutting edge suspension technology
As one of the key technological highlights, MARSIEN features a completely bespoke double wishbone suspension setup developed by the engineers responsible for countless rally, GT and special series’ suspensions. The suspension system consisting of more than 30 individual components milled from solid aluminum, implements extensive changes to the chassis of the base vehicle and is equipped with KW Automotive solid piston damper technology featuring an intelligent active damper control as well as an adjustable ride height system for on and off-road use. As part of the special options program, the suspension components can be anodized in gold according to the client’s wishes.

The adjustable ride height system of the MARSIEN enables an electronically controlled hydraulic lift system to increase the ground clearance to an unprecedented ride height of 250 mm. This enables the MARSIEN to deliver the ultimate on- and off-road driving experience, performing in terrain that no other super car can dream of.

An automatic tire pressure system has been integrated into the frunk of the MARSIEN, allowing the driver to adjust the tire pressure to the requirements of any given terrain on the go by inflating or deflating the tire and enhancing the off-road performance.

Specially designed forged aluminum wheels sets
For perfect driving conditions both on- and off-road, the MARSIEN comes with two specially designed forged aluminum wheel sets with center locking system, running on Michelin Ultra High Performance (UHP) tires for on-road and Grabber AT 3 All Terrain tires for off-road use. Optionally clients can specify their MARSIEN with an even more road-focused Lightweight GT wheel set, further enhancing on-road performance. The Lightweight GT wheel set of the launch vehicle has been painted in a triple layer pearlescent white reminiscent of the exterior launch color of the MARSIEN prototype specification, while the off-road wheel set has been painted in a deep navy-blue matte finish. Both wheel sets are equipped with wheel caps in 24-carat gold featuring the G crest.

Full carbon fiber exterior
The MARSIEN features a full carbon fiber exterior consisting of more than 85 individual carbon fiber components including air channels, wing mirrors, wheel arch liners and a rear panel that reaches all the way from the A-pillar to the rear wing. The MARSIEN exterior has been exclusively designed for performance, light weight and cooling and achieves a total weight reduction of 50 kilograms compared to the standard Porsche 992 Turbo S base vehicle. Each body panel is manufactured by leading German carbon fiber specialists who also supply leading OEMs, sportscar manufacturers and several Formula One teams.

MARSIEN owners can specify the contrast elements of the exterior such as the lower front splitter, side skirts, wing mirrors, air channels, as well as the exhaust frame and rear diffuser in exposed carbon fiber as part of the special options program. For those that like to go beyond, there is also the option to have a fully exposed carbon fiber exterior. All exposed carbon fiber components can be specified in gloss or matte and optionally in tinted carbon finish.

Extraordinary paintwork
The exterior paintwork is applied by a state-of-the-art and certified paint studio that is able to fulfil the most daring customer color requests. For the specification of the series launch vehicle, an elaborate one-off four- layer blue pearlescent exterior color with special metallic flakes has been created, which changes the color of the vehicle according to the direction of the light and angle of view. The color requires extensive preparation of the bodywork and was inspired by the polar caps on Mars and has therefore been named MARSIEN Glacier Blue.

Bespoke rear light technology
The MARSIEN rear design features a completely bespoke rear light that has been developed in collaboration with light specialist GERG Lighthouse. The manufacturing technology for the MARSIEN’s rear light has also been utilized for the European missile defense system Meteor and represents an integral part of the iconic design of the MARSIEN.

Making interior dreams come true
The interior of the MARSIEN also features several specifically designed elements. The center console has been lifted and equipped with an aluminum gear stick inspired by the legendary CGT, allowing for a sportier, more analog driving experience. It can be optionally fitted with a gear knob in carbon or mahogany instead of leather or Alcantara. As part of the special options program, clients can specify the carbon fiber interior package, adding further exposed carbon fiber elements to the driver’s cabin. Furthermore, clients have the option to add a club sport roll bar behind the seats of their MARSIEN that can be painted in color of choice, or finished in leather, Alcantara, or exposed carbon fiber. Finally, the metal badge displaying the individual production number of the limited series of just 40 pieces is embedded in the center console – lending a special touch to the cabin.

The interior specification of the launch vehicle has been finished in a navy blue Alcantara combined with interior accent elements in ice blue for the stitching, seat belts, door lashes, and instrument dials matching the MARSIEN Glacier Blue exterior paint. Matching the navy blue Alcantara, the interior is equipped with carbon fiber accents as well as an exposed carbon fiber roll bar finished in tinted blue. All badges and model designations have been finished in 24-carat gold on the launch vehicle specification.

Powered by industry leading partners
Besides the technological partnership with suspension specialist KW Automotive for the damper system, Marc Philipp Gemballa teamed up with other renown industry leading partners.

The engine upgrade powered by RUF enables the six-cylinder boxer engine to deliver over 750 horsepower and 930 Newton meters of torque. For clients that are looking for even more power, there is a second stage power upgrade that takes the horsepower up to 830 with enhanced VTG turbo chargers and a revised ECU mapping and transmission setting.

BMC, the air filter specialist based in Italy, has developed special engine air filters that are specifically for dusty desert conditions. While protecting the engine from dust and foreign particles, it maintains a sufficient flow of fresh air to allow the engine to work optimally.

For the MARSIEN sound, Marc Philipp Gemballa partnered with the leading performance exhaust manufacturer Akrapovič to exclusively develop an entirely new titanium exhaust system for the MARSIEN, focusing on a bespoke sound experience, light weight and further increasing the power output of the upgraded RUF boxer engine.

Every MARSIEN is one-of-one
Every MARSIEN is a unique piece, a true one-of-one, designed and built to each client’s dream specification. MARSIEN is meticulously crafted down to the last detail, even the most daring client wishes can be realized, from creating an one-off exterior color that could be matched to their partners favorite handbag, badges and model designation finished in 24k gold, bespoke interiors with the finest selection of materials to a fully exposed carbon fiber exterior that could even be specified in a tinted carbon finish. Each MARSIEN owner has made extensive use of the special options program ensuring to create their very own one-of-one MARSIEN.

MARSIEN on display
The MARSIEN series production vehicle was first presented as part of the up and coming Fuori Concorso event at Lake Como from 24-26 May for its European debut.

The French Riviera around Cap Ferrat and Monaco served as the location for the photoshoot of the MARSIEN series production vehicle captured by Oskar Bakke. “This place is special to me since I spent a lot of time here during my childhood and used to visit Monaco every year with my father for the Grand Prix and several automobile shows presenting his newest creations,” Marc Philipp Gemballa remembers.

SELAY, Texas (July 30, 2024) – John Hennessey, Founder and CEO of Hennessey Special Vehicles, the Texas-based hypercar manufacturer, has achieved a blistering standing half-mile speed of 219.07 mph driving his Venom F5 Coupe. Recorded via Racelogic VBOX satellite telemetry and backed-up by Dragy performance data, the capability of Hennessey’s ‘decathlete of hypercars’ was underscored by test driver David Donohue, who managed 221.92 mph in the half-mile acceleration test.

As part of the company’s ongoing engineering development program, John Hennessey personally piloted the Venom F5 Coupe for one of the half-mile runs, which also saw a phenomenal acceleration of just 6.81 seconds from 100 to 200 mph. Remarkably, engineers had not set out to achieve such a high speed – they discovered the number when later reviewing VBOX performance data.

“This was my first opportunity to pilot our Venom F5 beyond 200 mph while testing. I did not intend to go so fast, but I was not surprised as our hypercar’s power and acceleration cannot be described in words. Our test driver, David Donahue, may even have achieved a World Record speed for the distance, I’m not aware of any other production car going that speed. We will go back to NASA later this year when its cooler as I expect F5 to be even faster.”

John Hennessey, company founder and CEO

Hennessey’s testing update comes just days after YouTube creator Steve Hamilton pitted a Rimac Nevera and Bugatti Chiron Super Sport against each other in a drag race. Speed data from that test showed the Venom F5 was 15 mph faster than the Nevera (206.77 mph) in the standing half mile and a staggering 28 mph ahead of the Chiron (193.67 mph) over the same distance.

The Venom F5’s achievement came when conditions were far from optimal, compounding the almost casual accomplishment of ‘America’s Hypercar’. The dusty, unprepped surface impeded off-the-line traction, while the 80 to 90-degree Fahrenheit (27-32 Celsius) temperature was far from ideal. The Venom F5 Coupe is powered by a 6.6L twin-turbo V8 engine, named ‘Fury’, which produces 1,817 bhp on E85 biofuel. Power is put to the tarmac via street legal Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires.

When the F5 came to market in 2021, Hennessey set out to deliver its customers the ‘decathlete of hypercars’ capable of elite-level performance on the road; when pushing for high straight-line speed; and at the racetrack. In March this year, a Revolution coupe confirmed the Venom F5’s track capability by setting a new production car lap record of 2:10.90 at Circuit of The Americas. The company then turned its engineering focus to a push toward the car’s +300 mph V-max, building on the 271.6 mph set during its development.

With the fastest production car lap record at Circuit of the Americas (COTA) and the fastest production car half-mile record now achieved, the Hennessey team can push harder still to break the boundaries of speed and performance. The company has already built and delivered 23 Venom F5 Coupe, Roadster, and Revolution models to customers across the U.S. and around the world with a further 17 orders booking out build slots through 2024 and 2025.

While all Coupe and Revolution Roadster models are sold out, potential buyers can still apply to own a Venom F5 Roadster and Revolution coupe variant at HennesseySpecialVehicles.com. Interested parties can also call Hennessey on +1 (979) 885-1300, or contact the company’s network of U.S. and international retailers.

PRÆSTØ, Denmark (July 23, 2024) – The all-new Zenvo Aurora has been developed around the concept of an ‘equilibrium of extremes’. From the outset, the Aurora models have been developed to optimize each element of the design through a carefully balanced blend of each attribute, rather than compromising any one area through an overriding pursuit of top speed, power or styling. A key factor in this process was to ensure the styling was both aggressive and elegant, while ensuring handling and driving engagement were not compromised.

Zenvo is proud to once again partner with renowned Aerotak, with the Danish aerodynamic experts having already given valuable input on the TS1 GT, TSR and TSR-S programs, producing all the simulations for the ‘centripetal wing’. Founded in 2017, Aerotak continues to grow in the aero-architecture space, they were the natural choice for Zenvo when looking to gain a comprehensive understanding of the airflow for the Aurora Agil and Tur.

Aerotak focus as much on close collaboration as they do on respecting and upholding the spirit of Zenvos design. To do this, the specialist team uses an aero-architecture method, delineating the specific goals behind the simulations, before reviewing the wholistic design of the car and isolating specific areas. From the findings of this initial process, modifications and enhancements can be trialed, maintaining a focus on achieving Zenvo’s optimization goals, while preserving, and possibly emphasizing, the car’s unique design.

With the aero-architecture and goals established, Aerotak carried out simulations to understand the effects of design iterations, allowing updates to be made to optimize and create the most aerodynamic design for both Aurora models.

As part of the detailed simulation program, Aerotak included the full arrow map and x-ray imaging of the simulations throughout the design development, ensuring fully transparent reporting and optimal performance in all scenarios that Zenvo’s hypercars will find themselves in. This could be high winds, rain, driving over the apex of a hill or taking a closed curve at high speeds, and therefore ensures that the Aurora will perform predictably in every situation.

“For us at Aerotak, we have nothing less than the highest praise for our collaboration between ourselves and Zenvo’s design team. Nothing is as motivating as working with a design team that not only listens to our feedback, but also has a desire to understand Aerotak, where we come from, and our process. For them, the work we do provides visual validation of their design, but also works as a key player in delivering the best possible performance for the Aurora project, and its future owners.”

– Kasper Damkjær, Aerotak Founder & Senior Fluid Mechanics Specialist

The Zenvo design department had a very clear ambition for the Aurora program. Not wanting to design ‘just another hypercar’, Zenvo wanted to ‘break the mold’ of traditional automotive design, to create a unique car rooted in the Danish design philosophy of form following function.

“It has been a very interesting, but also a very challenging process to design the Aurora models. The Agil, which is the high downforce track biased variant, in particular, presented us with new questions that we had to work through as a team, and working closely with Aerotak really helped streamline and simplify this process. There is a good reason that a Formula 1 car looks the way it does – it’s all about optimal downforce. We quickly realised that beauty and aerodynamics sometimes clash – so we had to go through many iterations to get the perfect balance. I am extremely pleased with the result – the design is clearly part beautiful car styling, and part Formula 1 car-inspired, which is exactly the balance we were seekiing.”

– Christian Brandt, Design Director for Zenvo Automotive

Zenvo Automotive focuses on limited-edition hypercars, available to those interested in completely bespoke manufacturing experiences and unique driving abilities. The Aurora will be fully homologated for global markets and will showcase Zenvo’s exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail, all designed in-house.

Hand-built in Præstø, Denmark, Zenvo Automotive pride themselves on their Danish foundations. The all-new Aurora will take inspiration from Danish design principles and be powered by a 6.6-litre flex fuel enabled, quad-turbocharged V12 engine that will produce at least 1,250 bhp at 8,000 rpm and rev to 9800 rpm. Development of this bespoke powerplant and a dedicated fleet of test cars continues at a pace.
