BRESCIA, (December 14, 2023) – The wait for the release of the film Ferrari has ended. 1000 Miglia and Multisala Oz presented a special preview yesterday, one day before the release of the film, which will be in cinemas all over Italy as from today. In the film, the director, Michael Mann, recounted the four most dramatic months in the life of the Drake, during the 1957 1000 Miglia. Adam Driver’s performance, the photography of the race scenes and the sublime roar of the engines thrilled the audience. What better way to make the film’s arrival in the City of the 1000 Miglia special than to admire one of the legendary Ferrari cars that wrote the history of the House from Maranello and The Most Beautiful Race in the World. As the film tells us, the destiny of Enzo Ferrari, his family and his company depended on the victory of these cars.
For this occasion, a 1955 Ferrari 750 Monza Spider Scaglietti was displayed in the foyer of the Multiplex, bringing to life the cinematographic image of the legendary Prancing Horse cars. The car, original and certified by the Registro 1000 Miglia, still competes in the race, and for one evening, it was admired by the large audience that filled the cinema for the preview.
The proceeds from ticket sales were donated to the Emanuela Quilleri Onlus Foundation, which is dedicated to bringing cinema to children in hospital by financing a space inside the Brescia Civil Hospital.
