RESTON, Va. (September 5, 2024) – Audi of America today announced an extensive freshening for the 2025 Audi A3 and S3 sedans, with all models arriving with standard quattro® all-wheel drive. The 2025 A3 becomes more appealing, more comfortable, and more digital than ever, thanks to its sharpened exterior design, extended standard equipment, new interior materials and access to the Audi app store that permits popular apps to be loaded directly into Audi’s Multimedia Interface (MMI). The S3 sees substantial increases in performance with added power, chassis upgrades, and the addition of an advanced torque splitter – first introduced for the Nürburgring lap-record holding RS 3.

Sharpened exterior elevates A3 and S3 design
Following a major redesign for the 2022 model year, the 2025 A3 family receives a compelling exterior redesign update, which includes the new laser etched B-pillar badging strategy, two new wheels, and new front and rear LED lighting designs. Audi is now presenting the latest generation of the bestseller: the Q5, which is even more modern, spacious, and dynamic. It is the first SUV based on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) and is powered by efficient petrol and diesel engines that are even more economical thanks to MHEV plus technology. Audi will launch more than 20 new models in 2024 and 2025 – over 10 of them electric. This year, the new electric models commenced with the Audi Q6 e-tron in the spring and the Audi A6 e-tron in late July. At the same time, the company is rejuvenating its portfolio with combustion engine models like the A5 family unveiled in July.

INGOLSTADT (July 31, 2024) – The Audi A6 e-tron concept debuted at the Auto Shanghai 2021 trade fair as the forerunner of an innovative family of all-electric volume models. Audi is now launching the A6 e-tron* as a Sportback and Avant. As the second model on the PPE platform, the upper mid-size vehicle picks up on the familiar product strengths of performance, range, efficiency, and charging. It is also the platform’s first model with a flat floor concept. The exterior is powerful, sporty, and perfectly proportioned. Audi’s new design philosophy defines the interior. Depending on the equipment level, the A6 e-tron* offers many innovative features, such as second-generation virtual exterior mirrors, a panoramic glass roof that becomes opaque at the touch of a button and illuminated rings at the rear. INGOLSTADT (July 24, 2024) – Audi wrote engineering history in 1982 with the Audi 100. With its drag coefficient of 0.30, the third-generation Audi 100 was the world’s most aerodynamically efficient production saloon at the time, making it an essential part of the new special exhibition “Form vollendet”. The new special exhibition will be at the Audi museum mobile in Ingolstadt until March 2, 2025, where Audi Tradition will present aerodynamic concepts from 1945 to the present day. Continue reading
