DIEPPE/LE MANS (December 13, 2024) – Alpine is setting up in the city of the 24 Hours of Le Mans by opening a new project that will enable visitors to live the brand full experience: its first experience center, La Piste Bleue Alpine. From today, everyone can discover the Alpine universe and test drive the A290 and the entire A110 range on the legendary Bugatti circuit to experience a driving sensation like no other.
La Piste Bleue Alpine allows you to participate in driving sessions supervised by qualified instructors, technical workshops and immersive guided tours retracing the legendary history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
“La Piste Bleue Alpine is a venue devoted to car enthusiasts and the curious alike. You can discover new sensations and immerse yourself in the Alpine universe. It’s a unique experience place we’ve designed as a link between Alpine’s past and future.”
– Antonino Labate, VP, Sales, Marketing and Customer Experience Alpine
Le Mans is part of Alpine’s DNA so, in collaboration with the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), La Piste Bleue Alpine has been built on this symbolic site.
A regional landmark: Alpine takes up residence in Le Mans
La Piste Bleue Alpine is located at the edge of the Bugatti circuit, Chemin aux Bœufs, a stone’s throw from the southern entrance to the Le Mans 24 Hours racetrack.
The 450m² building reflects the brand’s values, using materials such as metal, in reference to the A110’s aluminium body and chassis, renowned for its lightness, strength and recyclability. The blue exterior is a reminder of the brand’s heritage, dating back to the first A110 Berlinette.
As part of the programmes offered at the center, there will be total immersion, with three tribunes with 10 Alpine A110 S bucket seats and a giant screen connected to a premium audio system with seven Phantom I loudspeakers, combining the excellence and design of Devialet, the French acoustic engineering company. It’s the ideal way to follow the performances of your racing partners and enjoy a complete racing experience. An Alpine “Hall of Fame” will surround these grandstands, with original items recalling Alpine’s history at the Le Mans 24 Hours: drivers’ helmets and overalls from previous editions, rim and tyres from the A424, and most importantly, the 2019 Le Mans 24 Hours Trophy.
Michelin, official partner of La Piste Bleue Alpine at Le Mans
La Piste Bleue Alpine illustrates the partnership between the two brands. The A290 and A110 cars will all be equipped with Michelin tyres, developed for Alpine and adapted to these track days’ sporting and safety conditions.
